Aaron Golson and Sean Hobson, initially charged with felonies, are expected to plead guilty to misdemeanor hazing. They will appear in court with a third defendant, James Harris, whose case is expected to be delayed with further negotiations.

Police told the AP that the three fellow band members beat Hunter on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 of last year. Assistant State Attorney Stefanie Walters said medical records did not provide enough proof of serious bodily injury to support felony hazing charges.

Golson and Hobson will be appearing in court with Harris on Thursday. Golson is also one of the 11 former band members charged with felony hazing in the Nov. 19 death of drum major Robert Champion in Orlando.
