(CBS News) After a year of dating, Eva Longoria and Eduardo Cruz have reportedly called it quits.

A source confirmed to People that the "Desperate Housewives" actress, 36, and Cruz (the younger brother of actress Penelope Cruz) are no longer an item.

"It was a mutual decision," a source told Us Weekly. "They are staying friends."

Longoria and Cruz were first spotted together last February, about a month after the actress' divorce from basketball player Tony Parker was finalized.
