(CBS News) The news of Oscar-winning actor Ernest Borgnine's death has caused an outpouring of love and support from celebrities on Twitter.
The actor died on Sunday of renal failure at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was 95.
Borgnine won the Best Actor Oscar for playing against type as the lovesick butcher in "Marty" in 1955. Younger audiences may know him as the voice of Mermaid Man in "Spongebob Squarepants."
