Entertainment buzz: Facebook's most shared moments of the week

It was a busy week in the world of entertainment. We had the "Suicide Squad" cast announcement, the first images of season 3 of "House of Cards" and a pretty spot-on "Star Wars" trailer parody.

Facebook has tallied the top 10 most discussed stories in entertainment this week. What had you talking? What popped up most on news feeds across the U.S.? What did that friend that you blocked post on her wall?

Here's our exclusive list:

1. Rolling Stones saxophonist Bobby Keys dies at 70

Bobby Keys, a saxophonist and life-long rock 'n' roller who played on recordings by Buddy Holly and John Lennon and performed one of the all-time blowout solos on Rolling Stones' "Brown Sugar," has died. He toured with the Stones for 45 years.


2. Comedian Chespirito dies at 85

Iconic Mexican comedian Roberto Gómez Bolaños -- better known as Chespirito -- died this week. He was best known for the characters Chavo del Ocho and El Chapulin Colorado, and for his family-friendly comedic style.


3. Independent filmmaker releases "George Lucas Special Edition" parody trailer

Michael Shank took the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" teaser and added way more "Star Wars" to it. The result -- which pokes some fun at George Lucas -- is easily the best parody trailer we've seen for the film.


4. Wendy Williams hosts 2014 Soul Train Music Awards

Radio and TV personality Wendy Williams hosted this year's Soul Train Music Awards, marking her first televised hosting gig. The night's performers included opener Chris Brown and '90s R&B hitmakers Jodeci.

5. Cloverton does Christmas-themed rendition of "Hallelujah"

Christian band Cloverton put their own Christmas spin on Leonard Cohen's classic this week, switching out the lyrics for Jesus' nativity story.



6. Warner Bros. announces cast of Suicide Squad

Cool news for comic book fans: the "Suicide Squad" film has a cast! Actors include Will Smith, Jared Leto, Tom Hardy and Margot Robbie.


7. Netflix releases first images from Season 3 of "House of Cards"

The return of Frank Underwood is almost upon us. Netflix shared the first images from the next "House of Cards" season this week. In the promo, we see Frank walking aboard a plane and looking menacingly into the camera. Season 3 will air Feb. 27, 2015.



8. AMC apologizes for posting spoilers for "The Walking Dead"

Whoops! AMC posted spoilers for "The Walking Dead" season finale before it aired on the West Coast. Gotta remember that time difference!


9. Paul Walker's fans remember him on the one-year anniversary of his death

It's been a year since the world lost "The Fast and the Furious" star Paul Walker. Fans took a moment to remember the actor Sunday.


10. "Mob Wives" season 5 premiers on VH1

And on a more serious note, "Mob Wives" is back! This season sees the return of Renee Graziano, Big Ang and co., and fans of their antics and drama couldn't be more excited.
