Emmy Rossum recalls run-in with a mountain lion

(CBS) Emmy Rossum stopped by "Chelsea Lately" on Wednesday, and shared a story about an unexpected guest she had at her home.

The "Shamleless" star told host Chelsea Handler that she once found a mountain lion in her backyard, where it had jumped the fence and was drinking from her swimming pool.

"I didn't have the fear instinct," she said of discovering the lion. "I had the New-York-outraged instinct. I was like, 'What the hell are you doing? Get off my property!'"

"Shameless" returns to Showtime on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.
