Embed Custom E-mail Signatures with WiseStamp (Firefox)

An attractive, informative signature is an asset to any e-mail message. Firefox add-on WiseStamp adds custom signatures to Gmail, Yahoo, and other Webmail services.

After installing the add-on, you create your desired signature using a simple Rich Text editor. You can choose different fonts, sizes, colors, and layouts, and mix in links and graphics. (Don't get crazy. When it comes to signatures, there is such a thing as overkill.)

The real icing on the cake is support for social media: WiseStamp lets you add profile links for your Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other pages, along with IM addresses and even RSS feeds.

With that done, just head to AOL, Gmail, Hotmail, or Yahoo Mail and compose a new message. By default, WiseStamp will automatically append your spiffy new sig. (If you'd rather do so manually, a quick tweak of the settings allows it.)

Here's a quick video that shows how to get started with WiseStamp:

You may notice that WiseStamp automatically appends its own promo link to the bottom of your signature, but you can turn that off in the settings.

Also, the add-on cleverly allows you to set up two signatures: one each for business and personal use. Choosing between them is as simple as clicking the WiseStamp icon in the bottom corner of your Firefox window.

I love this thing! I just wish I had a similar tool for Outlook, which is where I perform most of my e-mail chores.
