Elementary School Talent Show Brawl: Fla. moms charged in alleged choking incident, report says

(CBS) ST. CLOUD, Fla. - Two angry mothers turned an elementary school talent show in central Florida into a brawl, reports CBS affiliate WKMG.

Latisha James and Jessica Tyler were at their children's talent show at Lakeview Elementary School when the conflict began. According to the station, police said Tyler asked James, who was videotaping, to sit down because she was blocking her view.

James told the station that she wasn't the only person standing up. In the 911 call, Tyler reportedly said she accidently bumped into James' child. James told WKMG that she "snapped" and that Tyler didn't apologize.

The mothers were allegedly causing a scene by swearing and choking one another in front of children and other parents.

Both women claimed to be victims but, according to the Orlando Sentinel, they were each charged with battery.

Both mothers have been banned from the school property.
