Dunkin' Donuts dust up: Mass. woman accused of throwing hot tea at servers
(CBS) REVERE. Mass. - A woman who was upset with the service she received at Dunkin' Donuts was arrested after she allegedly threw hot tea at two servers on Monday, reports CBS Boston.
Natasha Peete has been charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Police say Peete returned to the Dunkin' Donuts store in Revere on Monday to complain about the service she got last week.
Lt. John Azzari says Peete claimed she didn't like the way the servers looked at her so she dropped a cup of tea - she says it was iced tea - after an exchange of words with the servers.
But surveillance video shows the woman allegedly throwing a cup in the direction of the servers.
The victims claim it was hot tea that hit them, although neither was injured.
Azzari says Peete was arrested and released on bail. She's also charged with disorderly conduct.
