Dual Eliminations Teeter Alliances on "Survivor"

On a night jam-packed with two immunity challenges and two tribal councils, both tribes took a hit as two more players were eliminated on Thursday night's episode of "Survivor."

Hero Candice was the first to go. After flipping to the Villains side last week and voting off a member of her own team, Heroes Rupert and Colby reciprocated the same deed and sent her packing after the first tribal council.

"Candice is so weak, she killed us," said a displeased Colby.

The first immunity challenge had the players stand barefoot on a small wooden perch with one hand raised above their head to hold up a bucket of colored liquid.

Tempted by food, Sandra and Russell voluntarily stepped down after a minute of standing for cookies and milk. Soon everyone, except Parvati and Rupert, had given up the challenge for food. After an hour and forty minutes, Rupert slipped and lost immunity to Parvati.

At the challenge, host Jeff Probst read a clue for the immunity idol that was hidden back at camp. Sandra ended up finding it first but didn't tell anyone. Desperate to avoid elimination, Rupert put a rock in his pocket and pretended he found the idol. Surprisingly his plan worked and Russell, the self proclaimed "idol expert" bought into it and told the members of his tribe that it was true.

Rupert's fake idol forced the villain's team to split their votes between two heroes. Colby and Russell caught on to this ploy and saw it as an opportunity to vote off Candice. Their votes combined with the villians was enough for her to be eliminated.

At the second immunity challenge, Rupert was determined to win but fell short to Russell. Luckily, Russell conjured up enough drama that would keep Rupert safe from elimination.

Threatened by Parvati's close alliance to Danielle, Russell took matters into his own hands and played a few mind games in hopes to get rid of Danielle. First he unsuccessfully tried to play the two of them by lying and saying that one was out to get another. He then told Colby and Rupert to vote for Danielle, both immediately oblige. He threatened Jeri to do the same by saying that if she didn't, she'd be the next to go. All together, his plan worked.

While at the second tribal council, Danielle was visibly frustrated at how her teammate turned against her and even started crying when she confronted Russell. When it came down to vote, Russell, Rupert, Colby and Jeri all voted for Danielle. The four votes against her were enough to send her home.

Next week, we'll see Russell make the flip and join forces with the Heroes as the remaining females aim to get rid of him.
