Drunken joyride on a steamroller ends badly, say cops

(CBS) - It seems likely that there's really no other way for a drunken steamroller joyride to end.

According to police in Canada, a man who decided to take a steamroller on a little joyride had to be rushed to the hospital when the machinery rolled over him, according to a report.

Police were called to the scene around 3:20 a.m. on Sunday after receiving reports that a man's ankle was pinned under a steamroller, reports The Toronto Sun.

The man lost control of the steamroller and it tipped over on him, according to police. They say alcohol was a factor.

The man is facing charges of theft and impaired driving.
