"Doctor Who" fans can step inside the TARDIS on Google Maps

The Doctor is in -- in London, that is.

Fans of "Doctor Who" will be happy to see that the Time Lord's TARDIS can be found on Google Maps. Even better, they can also take a look inside.

To see it, look at the map below or click here to head to Google Maps. You'll see the TARDIS (labeled as a "Police Telephone Box") parked outside the London Underground's Earl's Court station.

Click the double arrows outside the TARDIS and you can actually take a look inside.

The easter egg was quickly spotted by fans, who have left more than 200 reviews.

"They must have an HR problem because the caretakers kept changing," one commenter joked. Another added, "Terrible stay. Constantly got lost on the way to my room. Even though it was just me the landlord insisted on me having bunk beds."

"Doctor Who" is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Earlier this month, Peter Capaldi was announced as the newest actor to play the Doctor, replacing the departing Matt Smith.
