Dick Cheney Discharged From Hospital

"Former Vice President Cheney is feeling good this morning and was discharged from GWU Hospital," his office said in a statement. "He will resume his normal schedule shortly."

Cheney was hospitalized Monday following chest pains that lab tests later revealed to have resulted from a "mild heart attack."

Vice President Joe Biden urged the 69-year-old, a frequent critic of the Obama administration, to get better soon in a Tuesday phone call.

Prior to his most recent hospitalization, Cheney has had quadruple bypass surgery and two artery-clearing angioplasties.
