Detectives ask for public's help to solve murder of Fla. nurse Karen Courts
(CBS/AP) SARASOTA, Fla. - Authorities in Sarasota are turning to the public to try to solve the slaying of a 64-year-old nurse who was stabbed more than 20 times in her home last March.
Detectives say they have blood evidence, fingerprints and shoe prints that could lead them to the killer of Karen Courts, but they don't yet have a suspect.
The Sarasota Herald-Tribune reported Monday that police also have videotape of a man walking away from the victim's stolen car that was left in a mall parking lot after the murder.
Detectives now are saying there was a possible accomplice, too.
Courts was a nurse who specialized in assisting elderly patients with dementia.
