Denise Harvey (PICTURES): Fla. woman guilty of sex with 16-year-old now considered a fugitive

(CBS) - A Florida woman facing a 30-year sentence for having sex with her son's 16-year-old friend is now a wanted woman, according to the state attorney's office.

Denise Harvey, 43, was reportedly out on $150,000 bail since 2008 while appealing her 2006 conviction - an appeal that she lost.

According to the newspaper TCPalm, the court denied her appeal in 2010, and ordered Harvey to turn herself in by Feb. 25 of this year.

But when police arrived at Harvey's home in Deltona, they say they discovered that she had moved several months ago.

Police issued a warrant for her arrest on March 1, the newspaper reports.

Harvey could face up to five additional years in state prison for not turning herself in.
