Anthony Sowell, 51, has pleaded not guilty in the deaths of the 11 women who disappeared in his drug-ridden East Cleveland neighborhood starting in October 2007. Police say the women were lured in with alcohol and drugs.

The prosecution had rested on Monday, after showing the jury an eight-hour police interrogation of Sowell in which he said "I guess I did that" when asked about the bodies.

Defense attorney John Parker told jurors during opening statements that there is no DNA or other scientific evidence linking Sowell to the killings.

Sowell faces 83 counts in total, which include aggravated murder, offenses against a human corpse, tampering with evidence, kidnapping and felonious assault.
