Day 37: President Obama's Schedule

Looking ahead to his thirty-seventh day in office President Obama will introduce his nominee for Commerce Secretary, who is expected to be Gary Locke -- the former Governor of Washington State.

He will also meet with Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and the chairmen and ranking members of the Senate Banking Committee and the House Financial Services Committee in the Oval Office. Following the meeting he will make a statement regarding the critical need for financial regulatory reform.

In the evening, the president and first lady will host musician Stevie Wonder at the White House in celebration of his receipt of the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. Here is more from the White House press office (all times eastern):
