Day 24: President Obama's Schedule

President Obama will be celebrating the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth in Washington, D.C. and Illinois on his twenty fourth day in office. He will begin his day with the usual daily and economic briefings, as well as a meeting with senior advisers in the Oval Office. He will also sit down with Secretary of State Clinton this morning.

Later this morning, the president will travel to Capitol Hill to make remarks at the Lincoln Bicentennial Celebration.

This afternoon, President Obama will head to Peoria, Ill., for a speech at the Caterpillar plant in East Peoria. Then later this evening, he will travel to Springfield, Ill., where he launched his campaign for president just over two years ago to speak at the 102nd Abraham Lincoln Association Annual Banquet.
