Calif. barber cuts customer's throat, walks out, police say
SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- Looks like California has its own demon barber. And his name isn't Sweeney Todd.
Daniel Flores, 22, was arrested under charges of attempted murder after he allegedly cut a man's throat with a straight edge razor, reports CBS affiliate KFMB.
Police said that the victim, Timothy Paul Vaughn, had multiple cuts on his throat when deputies arrived at Vic's Barbershop around 3 p.m. Monday. He is expected to survive his wounds, they said.
Before the deputies arrived, Flores had walked out of the shop. He was later arrested without incident.
Police could not comment on a possible motive behind the act, according to KFMB.
Flores is reportedly being held without bail and is due to appear in court Thursday afternoon.
