"Dancing with the Stars:" Decade by Decade

Mya, the 30-year-old Grammy winner, was the top scorer Monday on "Dancing with the Stars," the hit ABC show that this week featured two individual dances including a Latin number framed in a particular decade.

Monday night also saw the first perfect score of this season - a 30 awarded to Mya for her '70s-eras samba, performed in hot-pink fringed bellbottoms. She earned a 29 earlier for a fast-paced quickstep, ending up with evening's top score - 59 out of a possible 60.

One of the night's highlights was a robotic paso double by Joanna Krupa, who was dressed in metallic clothes and white dayglow makeup. Her partner, Derek Hough, earned praise from all three judges for his choreography, which earned the couple a 29. It also prompted host Tom Bergeron to quip that in the future people will "dance really well, but look really weird."

Krupa's ballroom-round quickstep only merited a 23, for a night's total of 52.

Kelly Osbourne drew the '60s for her jive and turned up with a neon green wig and a prop doll that judge Carrie Ann Inaba said gave her the "heebie-jeebies." She earned as 26 for that, just beating her earlier score of 25 for a foxtrot and giving her a total of 51. It was a change for Osbourne, who generally does better in the ballroom dances.

Osbourne ended her jive clutching her prop doll in judge Bruno Tonioli's lap. When it was his turn to comment on her dance, he stood up, motioned and joked, "Come back to Daddy."

Tonioli was in high spirits for this episode, even at one point parodying Diana Ross as he sang a line of "Ain't no Mountain High Enough" in a falsetto.

Singer Aaron Carter, who earned the top score but found himself in the bottom two last week, aptly drew the '90s for his energetic samba, earning a 27. His foxtrot was criticized by one judge for lack of fluidity and merited only a 23 for a total of 50.

Entertainer Donny Osmond channeled the 1980s for his campy paso double that featured bad hair - crimped jheri curls - silver trousers, smoke and blinking lights. It earned him much applause and laughter but just a 24 for dancing. His Viennese waltz, on the other hand was praised as mesmerizing by Inaba. He earned a 26 for that, tying Carter for low scorer with a 50.

One contestant will be eliminated during tonight's results show, which will feature performances by Susan Boyle and Michael Buble.
