If you're one of the lucky folks evaluating a technical preview version of Microsoft Office 2010, you should be aware of a serious bug in Outlook that causes certain messages to balloon up to crazy file sizes, bloating inboxes and even failing to display properly in some mail clients.
If you're affected, you'll be pleased to know that there's now a fix.
Head on over to the Microsoft Outlook 2010 blog, where you can grab a patch that solves the file size problem. There are two files there -- one for the 32bit version and one for the 64bit.
Microsoft clarifies that this will fix all new e-mail messages you create and send using Outlook 2010, but it doesn't un-bloat messages you've already created, which might be filed or in your Sent mail folder.
