Crispin Porter + Bogusky Buys Digital Shop Texturemedia

Crispin Porter + Bogusky, the Miami-based creative shop behind campaigns like Burger King's Subservient Chicken, has bought interactive agency texturemedia, Adweek reported. The Boulder, Colorado-based texturemedia will add its website creation and digital marketing consulting businesses to Crispin's 80-person online advertising department. Andrew Davison, CEO of texturemedia, which employs 60 and claimed nearly $7 million in sales last year, will be now become an account director in content management. Ivan Perez-Armendariz, texturemedia's president, will shift over to Crispin as an executive integrated producer. Terms were not disclosed.
