Create Video Tutorials with Free Screencasting Software
A video tutorial (a.k.a. screencast) can be a great way to teach new hires how to use company systems, show prospective customers a killer product demo, and so on. The always-informative MakeUseOf lists five free applications (for Windows and Mac) you can use to whip up video tutorials right on your PC.
These include the very cool Jing Project (pictured above), which captures images and video from your desktop, then turns them into YouTube-style screencasts you can embed on your site, share in e-mail, etc.
Have you ever done any screencasting? Hit the Comments and tell us what software you used and how the project turned out.
