(CBS/WBBM) - Bail was set at $900,000 for a Woodstock, Ill. man who was charged with pimping his wife on Craigslist and fatally shooting her client, officials said according to the Chicago Tribune.

Timothy Smith, 26, was charged with murder, aggravated discharge of a firearm, pandering, obstructing justice and pimping, while Kimberly Smith, whose bail was set at $50,000 according to the Tribune, was charged with two counts of obstructing justice, disorderly conduct and prostitution, the sheriff's office said in a release.

Police say they arrested Timothy and Kimberly Smith in connection to the Saturday shooting of Kurt Milliman, 48, who solicited the 28-year-old woman's prostitution services from a Craigslist advertisement, reports CBS station WBBM. Police arrived on the scene around 11 p.m. after the Smiths called the police requesting Milliman's removal from their residence, according to the station.

By the time police arrived Milliman had a gunshot wound and he was taken to the nearby Centegra Woodstock Memorial Hospital, where he reportedly died from his injuries.

Milliman ran unsuccessfully for office twice in McHenry County, reports the Tribune.
