Craig Strickland's wife Helen shares wedding note

Helen Strickland, wife of late country singer Craig Strickland, knows how to remember the good over the bad in the wake of tragedy.

Helen, a former Miss Arkansas, posted a photo of the note her husband wrote to her on their wedding day. She wrote, "The Lord is good always...I know this because in the the most heart aching moments, when it seems too difficult to bare, God knows just how to make me smile."

In the letter Craig wrote to Helen, he said he was the "luckiest person in the world" and could have never in his "wildest dreams" imagined meeting someone like her. He said he loved the way she cooked asparagus and laughed at his jokes. He signed off with, "You make me the happiest man in the world! Love, Craig!! I almost wrote Greg? :)"

Helen responded in her caption, "'I almost wrote Greg?' - Lol, oh#craigstrickland, how I love you."

Craig's body was found on Monday after he went missing Dec. 27 while duck hunting with his friend Chase Morland during a severe storm in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Morland's body was found on Dec. 28 near their capsized boat; Strickland was found in Kaw Lake, which is located eight miles away from Ponca City.

On Wednesday, Craig's band, Backroad Anthem, released their last video with the singer.
