Coming to auction: Jesse Jackson Jr.'s ill-gotten goods

You will have a chance to buy the items Jesse Jackson Junior and his wife Sandi illegally purchased with campaign contributions, but you'll have to be patient.

The list of items is extensive and includes flat screen TVs, fur coats, a fedora worn by Michael Jackson, a $43,000 gold-plated Rolex watch and more, reports CBS affiliate WBBM in Chicago.

Once the Jacksons are sentenced, all those items, including the stuffed elk heads and the celebrity memorabilia , become the responsibility of assistant U.S. Marshal Belkis Sandoval in Chicago.

"We notify the public of which items are going to be for sale," said Sandoval.

Most of those items will probably be sold through an online auction as early as this summer. The proceeds will go toward paying restitution.

Sandoval's also been in charge of selling property seized from confessed Dixon embezzler Rita Crundwell, including all the livestock.

Needless to say, it's been a busy few months.

"We, thankfully, are equipped to handle a large number of auctions," said Sandoval.
