Columbine Shooter Killed Self
One of the gunmen in the Colorado high school massacre committed suicide with a gunshot to the roof of his mouth.
That's according to an autopsy report unsealed by a judge.
Dr. Ben Calloway examined Eric Harris' body two days after the April 20 shooting rampage and prepared a nine-page report that finds the wound was "consistent with self-infliction." The autopsy shows no trace of illegal drugs or alcohol.
The 18-year-old Harris and his 17-year-old classmate Dylan Klebold killed a dozen other students and a teacher at Columbine High School. Police say the two then killed themselves.
The judge delayed release of Klebold's autopsy for 10 days to give his parents time to appeal. In an affidavit, the parents say releasing the report would only satisfy the "voyeuristic appetite" of some reporters and members of the public.
