Colo. man threatens customers, sets fire to clothes inside Walmart, police say
(CBS/AP) BROOMFIELD, Colo. - Colorado police arrested a man on Monday who allegedly set merchandise on fire and threatened customers in a Walmart, CBS Denver reports.
Police and North Metro Fire Rescue responded to a report around 1:46 p.m. of possible menacing and visible flames inside a Broomfield Walmart. The store was then evacuated.
"Responding officers took a 28-year-old Broomfield man into custody without incident," police said in a statement. "Initial investigation revealed the male set some clothes on fire in the store and threatened two shoppers with a knife."
No injuries were reported and there wasn't much damage to the store.
