NEW YORK (CBS/AP) Christina Aguilera has been invited to give the national anthem another try.

The Brooklyn Cyclones, a minor leage baseball team, is  offering the Staten Island native a chance to perform "The Star-Spangled Banner'' before one of their home games this summer.

Aguilera botched one of the lines of the national anthem before Sunday's Super Bowl in Arlington, Texas. Instead of singing the song's fourth line with the correct words - "O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?" - she sang, "What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last gleaming?"

The New York Mets' Class A farm team extended the invitation Tuesday.

Cyclones general manager Steve Cohen said in a statement that "when a player makes a mistake, they usually don't get a shot at redemption, but with a singer, that's a different story."

Should Aguilera take the Cyclones up on their offer? Tell us in the comments.
