(CBS) MIAMI BEACH - Miami Heat star Chris Bosh had approximately $340,000 in jewelry, watches and purses stolen from his Miami Beach home while he was out celebrating his 29th birthday, CBS Miami reports.

Bosh was at a Miami nightclub and his two children were at home with housekeepers when the items were allegedly stolen on Wednesday night, USA Today reports.

According to the paper, police said no one in the house said they heard any unusual noise.

Police said there was no sign of forced entry and whoever burglarized the home left behind items that would attract notice - like Bosh's NBA Championship rings, CBS Miami reports.

Police are currently interviewing housekeepers and anyone who had access to the house, the station says.

"We are leaning on the side of this being an inside job," Miami Beach Police spokesman Bobby Hernandez said, according to USA Today.

The investigation is ongoing.
