Chicago Violence: Weekend shootings leave 6 dead and 28 wounded, report says
(CBS) CHICAGO - Shootings across Chicago over the weekend resulted in 6 people dead and at least 28 others wounded, including a 7-year-old boy, according to CBS Chicago.
The shootings happened between Friday night and Sunday night. Six men between the ages 19 and 35 died from gunshots while 26 other men, a young boy and a woman were injured.
The station reports the 7-year-old boy was shot Sunday night under the arm and is now in stable condition.
The woman, an unidentified 20-year-old, is listed in critical condition after being shot in the head Sunday night.
