Chic-On-A-Shoestring Coats

Bundling up for winter doesn't have to cost a bundle.

If your man is in the market for coats and jackets, The Early Show's Chic on a Shoestring has suggestions.

Matt Trainor, senior editor of Cargo magazine, put Rene Syler, Hannah Storm and a member of the plaza audience, Sonya Chrisman of Alabama, to the test by having them attempt to identify which coats are a steal and which ones are a splurge.

Coats are an investment piece. For the most part, you do not buy a coat one season and throw it away. These are meant to last several winter seasons. Classics such as the ones featured on the show fit the bill.

Look No. 1: Camel Coat
Outfit is paired with utility pants, graphic T-shirt and denim jacket to show the versatility of the coat. Not only it is a great look, but it allows you get the most for your money.

Look No. 3: Toggle Coat
