Charlie Sheen Jail Term Delayed; Plea-Deal Snag in Wife Brooke Mueller's Domestic Abuse Case
DENVER (CBS/AP) If you're looking for Charlie Sheen, you still won't find him in jail!
A lawyer negotiating the actor's plea deal in the Christmas Day domestic abuse case involving wife Brooke Mueller says a disagreement over the terms of Sheen's proposed work release is holding things up.

The star of Two and A Half Men was sentenced to thirty days in jail, reports E! Online.
However, Pitken County, Colo. District Attorney Arnold Mordkin tells E! News, "We've hit a snag."
Apparently, the final paperwork submitted to a judge would have placed alleged abuser Sheen under more stringent rules while out of jail of working, including not being able to smoke. He would only be allowed to eat meals provided by the jail or face sanctions, says Attorney Yale Galanter.
Galanter, who also represents Sheen's wife, says that wasn't the deal they had hammered out with Pitkin County authorities.
"We need more time than is available for us to complete some of the finer points [of the plea deal]," D.A. Mordkin said in court.
With the latest delay, Sheen is due back in court July 12, says E!
