Celebrity Circuit Exclusive: Jason Derulo denies dating Jordin Sparks

(CBS) Music star Jason Derulo, who has been busy promoting his second album "Future History," says  he  and   "American Idol" alum Jordin Sparks are  "just  friends.".

After US Weekly published a story that the two high-profile artists were in fact dating, Derulo sat down with CBSNews.com to set the record straight on his relationship with Sparks.

"We're just friends," Derulo said. "Jordin Sparks is an absolute sweetheart. She's a very nice girl. We've been friends for a while now."
