CBS News Radio announces leadership change

CBS News Radio announced Monday a change in its leadership. Craig Swagler and Linda Coombs will be taking over the leadership duties for the division, reporting to Ingrid Ciprian-Matthews, Senior Vice President at CBS News. Linda will be the Director of Operations and will run the day to day and personnel management. Craig takes on the duties of General Manager and will oversee the business operation and editorial direction.

The change in leadership comes as Constance Lloyd, general manager of CBS News Radio since 2000, retires, ending a three-decade career with CBS News. Staff were informed of Lloyd's retirement Monday by Ciprian-Matthews, who recognized her extraordinary contributions during a long career with CBS News.

The leadership change elevates two extremely experienced individuals from within the CBS News team.
