Casey Anthony Update: Defense Files Motion to Suppress Testimony About Anthony's Sex Life
ORLANDO, Fla. (CBS/AP) Casey Anthony, the Florida mother facing a capital murder trial for the 2008 killing of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, is set to appear in court Monday for a hearing on a recent request by her lawyers to prohibit testimony about her sex life.

Defense attorneys Cheney Mason and Jose Baez claim that allowing the jury in Anthony's murder trial to hear about two prior sexual relationships would violate her right to a fair trial.
The motion refers in part to a interview with and ex-boyfriend of Anthony's conducted by Orlando police.
During the interview with Anthony Rosciano, detectives asked Rosciano whether Anthony was "clingy" when she had sex, whether they used protection, whether Anthony had any sexually transmitted diseases and where they had sex.
Anthony's attorneys called the questions and responses "scandalous and incompetent and should not be allowed in any aspects of this case," according to The Orlando Sentinel.
The defense took particular offense to sheriff's detective Yuri Melich asking, "How was she when she had sex? Was she one of those people that would be real clingy, or was it just matter of factly [sic], or was it just okay, we're done, I'm going home," the paper reported.
The motion also requests that a similar conversation with another former boyfriend, Anthony Lazzaro, be prohibited because it "would create a danger of unfair prejudice" against their client, the Sentinel reported.
Anthony's attorneys have filed at least two previous motions asking that evidence against their client be suppressed, including a knife found in her car, a shovel borrowed from a neighbor days after Caylee disappeared, and a report that, while processing a portion of silver duct tape found with Caylee's remains in Dec. 2008, an FBI lab technician notice adhesive residue in the shape of a heart.
Detective Yuri Melich wrote in his report that it appeared to be consistent with a heart-shaped sticker found near the body, according to Sentinel.
The defense motions ask Chief Circuit Judge Belvin Perry to order the state to respond and set a date to hear arguments on whether the information should be excluded from the trial.
Anthony is charged with first-degree murder for the death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee. She has pleaded not guilty and says a baby sitter kidnapped Caylee.
Her trial is scheduled to begin in May.
