ORLANDO, Fla. (CBS/WKMG) Casey Anthony has added two new lawyers to her team as she gets ready to defend herself against charges that she murdered her then 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, in 2008. The new lawyers are reportedly experts in forensic science and the penalty phase of death penalty cases.

Jose Baez and Cheney Mason, two of Anthony's attorneys, announced the additions of Dorothy Clay Sims and Ann Finnell at a press conference Tuesday. Finnell was unable to attend because of a prior commitment, according to CBS affiliate WKMG.

The addition bring the total number of attorneys on Anthony's defense to five.

"They all believe in the cause and our cause for justice, to try to get justice for Caylee and for Casey, because justice for Caylee is justice for Casey," Baez said.

Sims is renowned for attacking scientific evidence in civil and criminal cases. One aspect of the case Sims may focus on concerns air samples taken from the trunk of Antony's car. State experts claim the air in the trunk display telltale signs of human decomposition.

When asked if she had ever heard of the theory being used at trial, Sims replied, "No."

"Would you consider that 'junk science?'" WKMG reporter Tony Pipitone asked.

"I'm not going to discuss the specifics [of the case]," Sims said.

Sims also said she has not been privy to the specific media coverage the case has generated, saying, "I haven't had a television for several decades," the station reports.

Mason told reporters,"To me it's a dream team opportunity to be a part of this type of thing you can't buy," according to local station News 13.

Anthony is jailed on first-degree murder charges in the death of her daughter Caylee, whose remains were found in December 2008. Caylee was 2 years old when she was reported missing by her maternal grandmother in July 2008.

Anthony has pleaded not guilty. Her trial is scheduled to begin in May.
