Can Twitter Change The World? @ParisHilton Thinks So

Paris Hilton Tweet Pimping for Charity (Twitter) Twitter

Paris Hilton, Justin Bieber, Jamie Oliver, Imogen Heap and Counting Crows are among some stars donating exclusive items on EBAY to support tomorrow's worldwide Twitter charity movement, aptly called Twestival. =http:>

Launched last year and already raised $264,000 for Charity:Water, Twestival mobilizes over 175 cities around the world to come together offline over one day for one cause. This year, 100% of proceeds from the event will be given to Concern Worldwide @concern, an international humanitarian organization transforming the lives of the world's poorest, most marginalized children through access to education.

I recently spoke to Twestival founder, Amanda Rose, about the festivities and this year's cause:

The bidding is underway and closes on Friday, March 26th. For more info about Twestival and events happening in your city go to: twestival.com=http:>

Full Disclosure: I am one of the organizers and co-hosts of the Twestival LA.
