Camilla: Royal family is "excited" for the wedding

(CBS) Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, said the royal family is "all ready" and "very excited" for Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding on Friday.

The Duchess left Clarence House and went on an impromptu walk Thursday afternoon to greet royal fans camping out along the Mall.

A St James's Palace spokesman told the U.K.'s Press Association, "The Duchess wanted to go out and meet some of those camping out ahead of the big day."

When asked by a spectator how she was feeling, Camilla replied, "We're all ready for tomorrow, it's wonderful and we're all very excited."

"It's such a great atmosphere here," she added. "It's so nice to meet people and see the celebrations are getting under way."
