"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" already trending five months before release
(CBS/What's Trending) - Activision promised that "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" would get real. And, it seems like they will be delivering on that promise.
Needless to say, response to the game -- which will tentatively be
released November 8 baring any "Duke Nukem"-sized problems -- has been positive, despite the fact that many of these players
haven't had a hands-on experience with the game.
And, of course, you can expect questions. Lots of questions. Lots of intricate questions about the minute details of gameplay, thanks to the fact that Robert Bowling (@fourzerotwo), the creative strategist for the game, has decided to respond to some inquiries about "MW3" on Twitter.
In the recently released trailer for the game, which has received over six million views in less than three days, the battlefield becomes your backyard. The trailer shows large metropolitan cities in countries like New York, France and Germany, covered in gunfire and shrapnel as soldiers run through the streets. Of course, if it was really true to life, it would be more like The Onion's version of the game. Funnily enough, this clip is beating the real trailer. It has over 10 million views. But the real question is: Will there be zombies?
