Business Hacks Poll: Do You Use Text Messaging?

text-messaging.jpgDo you text like a teenager, or do you find the whole idea of text messaging pointless? That's the subject of today's Business Hacks poll -- be sure to cast your vote!

I find there's a definite generation gap when it comes to texting. I use it occasionally, but mostly for non-business purposes (like communicating with my wife). Many of my contemporaries don't text at all, instead relying on e-mail or good old-fashioned voice calling.

But we're all 40 or older. I think young'uns are far more likely to text, as they've grown up with the technology. What do you think? Hit the Comments and share your thoughts on text messaging -- and don't forget to mention your age.

In the meantime, if you're in the camp that finds SMS pointless, be sure to read Seven Productive Uses for Text Messaging.
