"Buffy" stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alyson Hannigan reunite
This should warm the (un-staked) hearts of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" fans -- Buffy Summers and Willow Rosenberg are still hanging out together.
Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alyson Hannigan, who played titular vampire slayer and her best friend, got together over the weekend and shared photos of their mini "Buffy" reunion on social media.
The pics, Gellar said, were taken at an "awesome party" thrown by Hannigan (perhaps for the actress' daughter Keeva, who turned 3 on May 23).
"So this girl (#AlysonHannigan) and her husband (#AlexisDenisof) know how to throw a party," Gellar wrote. "I thought I was good with the crafts, till I went to this party#CraftMaster Thanks for having the #PrinzeFamily I've never seen a farm and pony rides in Santa Monica before #NowIveSeenItAll."
In another selfie taken of the two with a cameo from a balloon animal, she added, "Thanks for such an awesome party and my new #Giraffe."
A few days earlier, Gellar also marked the 12th anniversary of the "Buffy" series finale. "It was an incredible journey that I am so incredibly proud of," she captioned a photo collage on Instagram. "Thank you all for joining me, and continuing to tell her story."
