Buffalo Springfield to tour for first time in 43 years
(CBS) Buffalo Springfield is going to tour for the first time in 43 years. For what it's worth, that's awesome.
The living members of the band - Neil Young, Stephen Stills and Richie Furay - will hit the road with Rick Rosas on bass and Joe Vitale filling in on drums, reports Rolling Stone. Springfield's original drummer, Dewey Martin, died in 2009. Original bassist Bruce Palmer died of a heart attack in 2004.

In a statement, Furay said, "Over the years, music never stopped flowing from each of us, and it's come 'full circle,' if you will. And now, we get to share our hearts with you again -- yes, Buffalo Springfield again!"
There are only seven dates scheduled for the tour. On Furay's website there's an entry from February titled, "Buffalo Springfield Tour Slated for September."

In October 2010, Buffalo Springfield reunited at Neil Young's annual Bridge School Benefit.
Buffalo Springfield is best known as the first stop in the long, successful careers of Stills, Young and Furay. It scored one big hit, the Stills-written "For What It's Worth," which peaked at #7 in 1967.
