Bruce Beresford-Redman Update: Ex-"Survivor" producer should be extradited to Mexico, say U.S.
(CBS/AP) LOS ANGELES - U.S. Justice Department officials say Bruce Beresford-Redman, the former TV producer whose wife Monica Beresford-Redman was killed during a Mexican vacation last spring, should be extradited to Mexico to stand trial for her murder.

A 45-page extradition memorandum released Monday supports Mexico's extradition request. It will be considered at a May 16 hearing in Los Angeles.
The 39-year-old has been fighting extradition in jail since Nov. 16.
The body of 41-year-old Monica Beresford-Redman was found April 8 in a wastewater treatment pump at a Cancun resort. An autopsy says she was struck on the head and asphyxiated.
Bruce Beresford-Redman, a former "Survivor" producer and co-creator of "Pimp My Ride," has publicly said he is innocent but has not yet entered a formal plea.
