Brosnan Postpones His Wedding

Actor Pierce Brosnan and Entertainment Tonight correspondent Keely Shaye Smith have postponed their wedding because Brosnan's son was readmitted to a hospital due to car-crash injury complications.

Sean Brosnan, 16, suffered a pelvic fracture, ruptured bladder and other injuries in the accident April 22. He was one of five passengers in a car that plunged more than 150 feet down an embankment near Malibu.

The actor's public relations firm, Guttman Associates, said Tuesday it had no information on Sean's medical complications.

Brosnan and Smith were to have been married this weekend in Ireland.

"The couple has delayed the wedding until Sean has made a full recovery," the publicity firm said.

Brosnan's first wife, Sean's mother, died of ovarian cancer in 1991. It will be the first marriage for Smith. She and the actor have a 2-year-old son, Dylan Thomas Brosnan.
