Brogan Rafferty: No verdict yet for Ohio teen accused in" Craigslist killings"
(CBS/AP) AKRON, Ohio - An Ohio jury deliberated for a third day without reaching a verdict in the trial of Brogan Rafferty, the Ohio 17-year-old charged in connection of the "Craigslist killings" of three men who were allegedly lured to their deaths by phony job offers.
Prosecutors said Rafferty was a willing accomplice in the slayings, but his defense attorney argued that he was being manipulated by his 53-year-old mentor, Richard Beasely, and was fearful for his life if he didn't participate.
Beasely has pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial. He faces the death penalty if convicted.
