Brian Austin Green joins "Anger Management" as series regular
Brian Austin Green is getting a promotion on "Anger Management."
The actor is joining Charlie Sheen's FX comedy as a series regular, Deadline reported Friday.
Green's character was first introduced in the show's pilot and has made two other appearances on the show. He plays Sean, a foil for Sheen's character.
The "90210" star and husband to Megan Fox (the two welcomed son Noah last year) has also appeared recently on TV's "Wedding Band" and "Happy Endings."
This news follows Selma Blair'sabrupt exit from "Anger Management" last week, reportedly after Sheen threatened to leave the series if she stayed. Reports said Blair criticized Sheen's work ethic, and that the actor, who is also an executive producer on the series, fired her via text message.
The show is now seeking a new actress to replace Blair.
