Brandy sings on subway and nobody cares
Seeing impromptu performers on the New York City subways is pretty common. But it's not every day riders get to hear a Grammy-winning singer belt out some tunes.
Enter Brandy.
The 36-year-old songstress rode the subway earlier this week, singing "Home" from "The Wiz." The result? Barely anyone noticed, or seemed to care.
"What y'all thought of that?" she asked jokingly in a video posted on YouTube. "Y'all thought that was cool? Hello? Nobody heard me singing? Nobody cares?"
Brandy had hits with "That Boy Is Mine," "I Wanna Be Down" and "What About Us?" Now she can ride the subway and hardly anyone even notices. To her credit, she was in disguise and wasn't singing very loudly either. Plus, it's New York.

Brandy isn't the first established artist to take to the New York City streets. Erykah Badu did something similar last year, and just last week Tyrese Gibson hit the subway to promote his new album.
