13-year-old boy crushed to death by forklift in Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA -- Police say a 13-year-old boy was killed after he was crushed by a forklift in northeast Philadelphia.
It happened just before 9:30 p.m. Sunday at the Newman Paper Company in the 6100 block of Tacony Street in the Wissinoming section of the city, CBS Philadelphia reports.
Police say the teen was driving the forklift at the Newman Paper Company on Comly Street when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed.
WPVI-TV reports police say he was with friends when he was crushed.
Police say he died from his injuries. His identity has not been released.
Authorities are investigating.
