While accepting the night's top honor, Video of the Year, Gaga revealed to the audience the name of her upcoming album.

"I promised that if I won this tonight, I'd announce the name of my new record," Gaga tearfully said.

After announcing its title, "Born This Way," she belted, "God makes no mistakes. I'm on the right track baby. I was born this way" to an audience that quickly went silent after she sang her first note.

Gaga, who was nominated for a record-breaking 13 Moonmen, took home eight trophies Sunday night for her "Bad Romance" and "Telephone" music videos.
