Billy Joel Lends "Glee" His Music

NEW YORK (CBS) Billy Joel has given "Glee" the go-ahead to use his music.

The singer, who already has had one song featured on Fox's Emmy-nominated hit series, confirmed that he gave the show his blessing - and his catalogue.

"I said, 'Yeah! Go ahead. Use my stuff,'" Joel told Access Hollywood on Tuesday. "I was in a chorus when I was in high school, why not?"

Just don't expect the star to appear on the show.

"I'm just not a big TV actor type of guy, I'm a piano player," he said.

Last season, Matthew Morrison and guest star Neil Patrick Harris dueted to "Piano Man." Over the weekend, Harris an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his appearance on the show.
